Holiday 2015 sneak peeks are upon us and we've all been drooling over the upcoming new releases. But there's one that seems to be getting the most attention, and that's the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette.
Karen from Makeup and Beauty Blog (one of my favorite blogs ever) just posted a bunch of photos including swatches and a video review so you can get a good idea of the size, the shades, and tips on how to use it! So head on over to her blog and get ready to want this more than you already do!

Just as I was typing my last post about the swatches and video of the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Holiday 2015 palette, I was also checking out Instagram (how's that for multitasking, haha!) and saw that it's now available at Sephora.com! Here's a screenshot of my cart...and just a hint...you can grab a free deluxe size of the new NARS Audacious Mascara by using code NARSLASH at checkout.
Also Ebates is offering 8% cash back right now, plus they have tons more coupon codes you can use, in case you're not wild about the Nars mascara one. City Color Cosmetics Spring Beauty Blush ($3.99 at Citycolorcosmetics.com) is a line of 4 multicolored blushes that are imprinted with the prettiest floral designs. I got mine for $3 each at Five Below, but they're available on the City Color website right now for only $1.99 on sale (as of the time of this post). Let's take a closer look!
City Color blush review and swatches

There are two different finishes...satin and shimmer with two shades in each finish. The satin finishes feature a Rose design while the shimmers have Daisies (and a few other flowers) imprinted on them. The Rose designs have little shimmery butterflys that add just a hint of glow while the Daisy design has a lot more shimmer throughout.
These are highly pigmented, soft and easy to work with.

Blossom is a satin finish blush with pink, magenta, rose and peach shades in it. When blended together, they create a beautiful warm rosy pink shade that would be amazing on darker skin tones.

Maybelline has been posting sneak peeks to their Snapchat lately, first their matte liquid lipsticks I posted about last week and now blush, highlight and Contour palettes!
It looks like there will be multiple shades due to the fact that this one's labeled Light/Medium.
I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out about a release date!

The Holiday sets launch today at Sephora, so there's lots of newness to share with you guys! So far, I count seven new products and I know there are more coming at Ulta...but that's a different post because they're not available just yet. Let's take a look...

Bling It On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette($44)- I'm most excited about this one because you can't have too many of these blushes...they're amazing! This palette contains Fetching, Dollface, Prim, Smashing and Beaming, none of which I have so I'll definitely be picking this up!

Deluxe Amazonian Butter Lipstick Set ($21)- four of Tarte's best-selling lipsticks including Sangria, Punch, Bellini and Mimosa. These are deluxe sizes (.035oz vs. .1oz full size).

Light of the Party Collector's Makeup Case ($59)- Contains 30 eyeshadows, blush, bronzer, highlighter, Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, and a double-ended shadow brush in a sequined case. Inside, there's a travel-sized palette that comes out and has shadows, cheek and contouring shades.
Lips for Daze LipSurgence Set ($34)- This set contains 5 full size LipSurgence Lip Tints in two different finishes, worth $120 (these are normally $24 each).  It has Glaze and Praise, plus matte lip tints in Haze, Craze and Emblaze.
Stroke of Midnight Brush Set ($44)- A sequined brush set with five full-size limited edition brushes. Including The Buffer Airbrush Finish Foundation brush, concealer brush, eyeshadow brush, complexion brush, and blush brush. Pretty much everything you'd need on the go!
Shine Bright Statement Lash Essentials ($20)- This set contains Tarte's best selling Picture Perfect eyelash curler in a limited edition with sequined handles, plus a mini Lights, Camera, Flashes mascara.

What do you think, will you be indulging in either set?

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Swatches & First Impression

$

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit ($80 at Sephora) is perhaps one of the most highly anticipated releases for Holiday 2015. For me, the fact that it contained Hourglass' famous face powders, blushes and a bronzer all in one beautiful compact meant that I had to get it the minute it launched. But is it worth the splurge? Read on to find out...

The Ambient Lighting Edit contains three Ambient Lighting powders, including a brand new shade. Also included are two blushes and a bronzer.

Products Included:
- 0.049 oz Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light
- 0.049 oz Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder in Iridescent Strobe Light (new)
- 0.049 oz Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light
- 0.049 oz Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure
- 0.049 oz Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush
- 0.049 oz Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light

The compact is sturdy and beautiful with a reflective mirror-like surface. Inside, the mirror is large which is an added bonus. The powders themselves are the same as you'll find in their full-sized versions and I love that this compact has a little bit of everything, because it makes it great for travel.

Now the bad news...at $80, the Ambient Lighting Edit is way overpriced in my opinion. Here's how it breaks down:

A Full size Ambient Lighting Powder is 0.35 oz. for $45.00  ($128.57/oz.)
A Full size Ambient Lighting Blush is 0.15 oz. for $35.00 ($233.33/oz.)
A Full size Ambient Lighting Bronzer is 0.39 oz. for $50.00 ($128.21/oz.)

Now the Ambient Lighting Edit is 0.294 oz. for $80.00 ($272.11/oz.)...that's a much higher cost per oz. than any of their full sized products.  If I do the math correctly, this palette contains about $48 worth of product. Even if they charged $10 more for the sake of it being convenient to have all of these different products in one palette it wouldn't bother me, but $80 is just really steep for something this small.

Another problem I ran into is that due to the small pan size, it's difficult to get a brush into any one pans without it dipping into the one next to it. I was able to use my It Cosmetics Complexion Perfection brush that came with their Celebration Foundation because it's a little smaller than some of my larger fluffier brushes. But I wish I could use a larger brush for Dim Light, Diffused Light, and Bronze Light because I would normally apply those over my entire face and I prefer to use a larger brush for that.

Here are the swatches and as you can see, they're really beautiful!

Overall, I'm really disappointed by the size of this palette, but that's not to say I don't absolutely love it otherwise. The packaging is gorgeous and the shades are ones that I would use every single day, so I'm really torn about whether or not I should keep it.
While this palette is expensive for the amount of product you get, it's not nearly as expensive as purchasing all six shades separately, so if you've never tried the Hourglass Ambient powders, blushes and bronzer and have always wanted to, this is a way to get them all at once for $80 as opposed to $255.
However, if you already own some of these shades, you can probably skip this palette unless you travel a lot and would get a lot of use out of it that way.

What do you think, have you purchased this already, are you planning to, or are you going to skip it?

You can find the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit at Sephora.com.

My Luminizer Collection + Favorites

$

It's safe to say I'm addicted to luminizers...I have them in powder form, stick form, creams, you name it! I'm not really a fan of contouring (it seems to look good on everyone but me) but when it comes to popping a little highlight on the ol' cheekbones, brow bones and cupid's bow, I'm there! I love how it lights up my face and gives it a lift- it's like youth in a compact. I typically reach for my powder formulas but I also love using my stick versions on the go or when I'm in a hurry.

I figured that instead of a review, maybe I'd go in a different direction today and give you a peek inside my personal collection and tell you what my favorites are, both high-end and drugstore. This is just powder luminizers...I'll save the creams and sticks for another post.

I've posted full reviews on a lot of these already (I'll link to them in this post if you'd like to know more about any particular shade) but some of them I really haven't talked about yet.
I decided to swatch them all side by side so that you could see how they look next to each other, but since my arms weren't quite long enough to fit them all, I broke them up into pink-toned shades and warmer golden shades.

First, I'll talk about the pink-toned shades I have:

L'oreal's True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminators ($12.99 at drugstores) (see my review here) are probably the frostiest shades I own and the ones I wear the least. I'm not really a fan of these, sadly.
Wet N' Wild's Fergie Centerstage To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow ($5.99 at Target) is also a frostier shade but it's subtle enough that it gives a nice glow without looking too crazy...I wear it a lot!
Makeup Revolution's I Heart Makeup Goddess of Love ($7.48 at Makeuprevolutionstore.com) (see my review here) is a beautiful rose gold shade that comes in a little heart-shaped container that reminds me of Too Faced's Sweetheart blushes...so cute!
The Balm's Cindy-Lou Manizer ($24 at Kohls) (see my review here) is such a pretty peachy pink shade, I can actually get away with using it as a subtle blush because I have such fair skin.
Laura Geller's Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Ballerina ($26 at Ulta) (see my review here) is new to my collection but is already one of my favorites! It's similar to Cindy-Lou but is more of a candlelit/rose gold than a peachy pink.

Next, the golden shades:

Julep Glow Highlighting Powder ($28 at Julep.com) is a product I received in my monthly Julep Maven box and it's probably the most subtle highlighter I own. It doesn't have a lot of shimmer, so I can be a little more heavy-handed with it.
The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer ($24 at Kohls) is one of my favorites, in addition to being a cult-classic. It's the perfect golden champagne shimmer!
Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in Tiki ($10 at Walmart) is a recent discovery for me and was a surprise because although it's too light to be a bronzer...it's actually a really close Mary-Lou Manizer dupe! (See my comparison post here).
Becca & Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop ($38 at Sephora) is the most expensive luminizer I own and while it's soo pretty, I don't love it more than most of the others I have. I think it's a little bit too warm for my cool-toned fair skin, so I kind of regret spending the money on it because I don't reach for it too often. I'm sure there are other Becca shades that would suit me better.
Wet N Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection To Reflect Shimmer Palette in Hollywood Boulevard ($5.99 at Drugstore.com) is a beautiful golden shade that has bronze and pink swirled into it that create a color that's similar to Champagne Pop but it's more gold than peachy. Another one of my favorites!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal ($38 at Sephora) is still a golden champagne shade, but is cooler than the Wet N Wild Hollywood Blvd or Champagne Pop. I got this mini version for free with a $25 purchase at Sephora and it's pretty, but possibly a little too dark for my fair skin.

So overall, what are my favorites? On the high-end, Mary Lou-Manizer is my go-to, with Laura Geller's Baked Gelato coming in a close second. As far as the drugstore versions go, Hard Candy's Tiki is such a close dupe of Mary-Lou, how could I not love it? But I'm also crazy about the Wet N Wild Fergie To Reflect highlighters...they're just gorgeous and under $6!

What are your favorite luminizers? I'd love to hear about them (and if they're ones I don't have, you're probably going to tempt me to go out and buy them!).

Maybelline Spring 2016 Preview!

I've been following Maybelline on Instagram and Snapchat for a while now and they've been torturing us with cryptic sneak peeks for weeks!
Finally, the latest press releases that I got today explain a few things. Without further ado, I give you the Spring line, due out in January (but we all know it'll hit stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond in early December as usual).

The first sneak peek I shared with you back on September 4th wasn't really a mystery because they said exactly what it was. It was originally on Maybelline's Snapchat and they showed us ten shades of their new Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks.

Then last week, they teased this photo on their Instagram page from the Jason Wu show at NYFW saying that the look was all about clean skin and matte red lips, and that we'd find out more this winter...
This press release finally confirmed it...to get the look, they used the new Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid in Rebel Red with a hint of Berry Boost. Below, you can see the packaging clearly...it's very clean and simple, I like it!

Next, they teased this palette on Instagram, saying that it was a "rockin' new palette coming this Winter".

Turns out, it's called the RockNudes. A few of these shades aren't exactly what I'd call nudes but it's a nice looking palette. I just wasn't really a fan of the previous ones, though the Blushing Nudes was my favorite and seemed to be an improvement over the first few.

Yesterday, Maybelline teased this Master Contour palette on their Instagram page, and I also posted a photo from Beautylogicblog on Snapchat last week of this palette in Light/Medium. This shade that Maybelline posted below seems to be a bit darker so this might be a different shade.

Also in this press release is the Master Fix Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder but I haven't seen any teasers about this yet.

Finally, when I was on Beautylogicblog's Snapchat, she was behind the scenes at NYFW and briefly showed the bronze chubby crayon you see in the photo below. I wasn't able to catch a screenshot quick enough, but it's the Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayon! I'm a huge fan of Color Tattoo shadows so having them in crayon form is even better!

Maybelline posted this sneak peek of the Color Tattoo Concentrated crayons on their Instagram page. I need that pink champagne shade on the right!

So which of these new products are you most excited about?

Amazing Deal! Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lip Gloss Set at Macy's

$

There's a deal that's been floating around Instagram that I wanted to share with you in case you haven't seen it or aren't on Instagram. It's an Anastasia Beverly Hills holiday setcontaining eight of their best-selling full sized Lustrous Lip Glosses for only $40!

That's $5 each (sold separately they're $16 each which is why this is such an amazing deal). A few people I know on Instagram had seen this in that little Impulse section in the Macy's beauty department. My store has that section but this wasn't there...I'm so bummed! You can check to see if it's in a store near you on the Macy's website, otherwise, it's available for sale at Macys.com.

If you're not into lip gloss because you find them sticky or that they lack pigment, I just want to say that from the swatches I've seen, they almost look like lip lacquers. Plus, everyone I know who has purchased this set says they're not sticky at all.
Here's what they look like swatched (photo credit @blankasalazarxo on Instagram)

Photo @blankasalazarxo on Instagram
This set would make an amazing Christmas gift...actually, you could even break up the set and tie a ribbon around one or two of them for stocking stuffers or a grab bag at work. It's a great way to make the most of your $40!

You can grab this set now at Macys.com.

City Color Cosmetics Spotlight Highlight Review & Swatches

$

0
City Color Spotlight Highlight ($4.99 at CityColorCosmetics.com) is a creamy, lightweight formula that gives you a dewy highlight with a pearly finish. Read on for my review and swatches, plus comparison swatches of other cream highlighters I own.

I've been on a big City Color kick lately because it seems like every single thing I've gotten from them has been great! They're already one of my favorite drugstore brands due to their high quality and super-reasonable price points...I just wish they were sold in stores (besides a random find at Five Below).  I ended up buying a lot of products during their Labor Day sale, when they had 25% off, and now that their free shipping minimum has been lowered to $25, it makes me feel a little better about ordering online. It used to be hard to get to that $50 mark most of the time because their products are so inexpensive.
One of the products I got in my huge Labor Day haul is the Spotlight Highlight ($4.99). You guys know I'm all about the highlight these days so how could I really resist this cute little pot at under $5?

Spotlight Highlight comes in one universal shade that's a light champagne color with a pearly finish. It's not overly sparkly or shimmery, so it just gives your face more of a sheen wherever you place it.

The packaging is simple and clean...just a clear clamshell compact with a see-through lid.

The compact holds .095 oz. which is pretty small but you don't need a lot of this so it'll last a long time.

The texture is very creamy and lightweight and it goes on very subtle. I've built it up in this swatch so that my camera would pick it up but it takes a few layers to get this intensity (not that you'd put it on your face this heavy anyway). It's very slick so those with oily skin might find that this slides right off. I have dry skin so it wasn't a problem for me but if you're oily, you may want to set this with a highlighting powder on top to help it stay put.  Or, you could try their Glowing Complexion Illuminating Cream I reviewed a while back...it's a cream highlighter in a tube that doesn't feel quite as greasy as this one so it may be better suited to oily skin types.

I wanted to swatch Spotlight Highlight next to some other cream highlighters I have so you could see how it compares! These are all in stick form...I realized that I don't actually own any other highlighters in pots except for the Colourpop ones (but the shades I have aren't even close to this one so I didn't include those).

As I was swatching these, I realized that the Flower Beauty Glisten Up Chubby Highlighter is practically a spot-on dupe for the Sonia Kashuk Chic Luminosity Stick in Sparkling Sand.
The City Color Spotlight is a little whiter and less gold than those two. Benefit's Watts Up! is the warmest of them all and is closer to a rose-gold when compared to the other three.

Overall, this is a cute little budget-friendly cream highlighter that I'm glad I picked up. It works well with my dry skin, and creates a dewy but not sparkly finish. But I wouldn't recommend this one if you're oily, due to the fact that it has a tendency to slide.

If you're interested in picking this one up, you can find it at CityColorCosmetics.com. Use my coupon code BudgetBeautyBlog to save 10% off your entire order!

Hard Candy Fall 2015 Spotted at Walmart!

$

Today I was at Walmart and spotted the new Hard Candy Fall 2015 collection. I'm always excited about the new Hard Candy collections...call me nostalgic but I've been a Hard Candy fan since the '90's and even though a lot has changed, they still hold a special place in my heart. Not to mention, their prices are incredible for the high quality you're getting. Some of the products are hit or miss, but some are holy grails for me, like Glamoflauge foundation and the Plumping Serum lipsticks.
Anyway, there are a ton of new products to go over so let's get started!

The first thing I spotted were these new Fierce Effects Argan Oil Lipsticks ($5). I loved their Fierce Effects glosses (see my review here) so I'm really excited to try these. They come in 9 shades and they seem to be grouped by intensity. The first three shades are lighter and more nude while the next three are brighter pinks. The last three are darker, bolder shades that include a red, dark purple and black.

The tubes are pretty badass looking with a black matte finish studded with crystals, while the top of the cap shows the lipstick shade. Thankfully, these do come with safety seals...the label on the side of the tube goes across the section where the tube opens, and even though it's easy for people to just peel those off, at least you'll be able to tell if it's been opened.

Here are some close ups of the shades:

Chalkin' Pink, Glisten to Me, Galactica

Newly Berried, Provocative, Prowler

Show Off, Thunder, Black Diamond

Next, I noticed three new shades of my favorite lipsticks (see my previous review here)...the Plumping Serum Gel Sticks ($5). These new shades say that they're "New Bold Color" and there's a bright pink, dark purple, and bright red.

Caliente, Violet Vixen, Fire It Up
Next up, they've taken their All Glossed Up crayons and mattified them with four new shades called All Matte Up ($5 each). They claim to be "hydrating lip stains" so I'm hoping these will be a matte formula my dry lips will actually like! There's a marsala shade, a berry pink, bright pink and dark purple.

They weren't in the right place on the display so I took a photo of the shade names below:

Here are all four shades...they're fully shrink wrapped which is fantastic! I'm so glad Hard Candy is now putting safety seals on their lip products. I always used to get frustrated looking through all of the shades I wanted and seeing that they had all been tested...gross!
Earthy Marsala, Berry Matte, Mattely in Love, Venom
Next, I spotted the Brows Now! All-in-One Brow Kit. It comes in two shades, Light Medium and Medium Dark and contains a Brow Powder Duo, Soft Brow Wax, Brow Highlighter, and a Powder Brush, Wax Brush and Mirror.

Next is the Oopsy-Proof Eye Liner Eraser. It cleans up eye makeup smudges and mistakes with a super sharp tip that can get into small spaces with precision. I'm thinking this will really come in handy to erase those mascara smudges I get all over my eyelids during application. Or when I totally mess up a cat-eye and have to do it over again!

There are three new Baked Eyeshadow Palettes called Shadow Spheres Baked Eyecolor ($8 each). They're called Light n' Night, Nudes n' Roses and My Bright Life.  There are 8 pans but 10 shades in each palette because two of the pans are split into two eyeshadows. Kind of strange, right? These can be used wet or dry and the display says they have a mirrored compact (I'm guessing maybe it's in the part of the palette toward the bottom of the photo with the Hard Candy logo on it?).

There are two Glitter Gel Palettes called the Glitteratzi Palettes. These appear to be cream glitters with six shades in each palette.

Finally, Chrome Lash Tinsel is a chrome mascara...how cool is that? They come in two shades, Graphite and Sapphire. I'm really curious to see what these look like because I've seen tons of glitter mascaras but I don't believe I've ever seen a chrome version.

There were two products I wasn't able to photograph because my phone died right there in the store...ugh! They were Chrome liquid eyeliners in four shades and a black liquid liner with a really unique applicator. I'll go back hopefully tomorrow and grab photos of those to add to this post.

Which products are you excited to pick up? I grabbed some of the lip products so far but I really want the brow kit and the eye liner eraser as well!

Sneak Peek of Tarte's Tarteist Contour Palette

Snapchat is the place to be for sneak peeks these days! One of the gals I follow, MaryamNYC just posted a video (which I promptly took a screenshot of) where she visited the Tarte offices in NY and THIS beauty was lying on the table.

I thought I was tired of contour palettes but this one is too beautiful. It has highlight, blush, and bronzer all in a disc shaped gold compact. I wish I could tell you when this will be available and how much it'll be but I don't have any more information at the moment. I'll be sure to let you know the minute I find out!

Ok last post of the night, I'm going to bed! See you guys tomorrow. :)

Sneak Peek: Becca Afterglow Palette!

I've been following Milly Almdovar Thompson (Senior Beauty Editor, Cosmo for Latinas) on Instagram and Snapchat for a while now and she always has the best sneak peeks. She shares a lot of new products that are coming across her desk before we hear about them and last night, I saw one that really jumped out at me on Snapchat. It's the Becca Afterglow palette, which will be a combination of blush and highlighters. It's launching on September 27th exclusively at Ulta and will cost $39.50.
Know what I'm thinking? If you were disappointed by the size of the Hourglass Ambient Edit palette, this might be a great alternative! Becca's highlighters and blushes are amazing and this is half the price of the Hourglass palette. Even if this is the same size, the price is soo much better!
I'll continue to share sneak peeks with you and as soon as I see what this looks like inside, I'll post it for you guys!

HOT Beauty Deal! Bare Minerals Today Only Special Value

$

bareMinerals has a fantastic deal on QVC today that is a crazy-good value so I had to share it with you guys. It launched at midnight and this morning I saw the presentation on my DVR (yes I'm a total geek and I tape all of the QVC beauty segments). It's the bareSkin Breakthrough 8-Piece collection Today's Special Value and features their brand new concealer that just launched recently and their best-selling bareSkin foundation and brush. Let's take a look!

This entire set is a $172 value for only $56.94. Just the bareSkin foundation and brush alone cost $57 in stores like Sephora and Ulta so for 4 cents less, you're getting 6 more pieces, including their brand new bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer (which is $20 by itself). This set also includes a blush, eyeshadow, lipstick and brushes! Basically, you're getting each product for $7.11 which is like drugstore pricing.

Here's the breakdown of what's included:

bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer helps cover the appearance of imperfections and helps brighten the under-eye area.

bareSkin Serum Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20 is an ultra-thin fluid for adjustable coverage and natural-looking finish. Plus, it helps deliver an improvement in brightness and luminosity.

The best part is that this is available on 3 Easy Pays of only $18.98. If you've never used Easy Pay before, you don't need to have a QVC credit card...it works with any credit card you want to use. QVC will charge you $18.98 today, then $18.98 on October 18, then one more payment of $18.98 on November 18. So if you don't want to put the full amount on your card now, you don't have to...and you'll save on interest because you're only putting a third of it on your credit card now (if you pay your balance off each month). I normally do Easy Pay on products over $50 because why not? It makes it a little more manageable...I'm still paying the same amount but just not all at once.

Also, if you've never ordered from QVC before, you have 30 days to return anything you buy...even if you've already used it. They have a great no-hassle return policy, which is another reason I often buy from them over Sephora or Ulta (not to mention the prices are better).

If you've always wanted to try the bareSkin foundation, I wouldn't pass up this opportunity to get 6 other pieces for free for the cost of just the foundation and the brush!
You can pick this up today only on QVC.com

I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the L.A. Girl Velvet Contour Sticks ($5 each at LaGirlCosmetics.com) and they finally launched today! I love cream blushes and highlighters in stick form because they're so easy to use and tend to blend beautifully and look natural. I also love L.A. Girl...they're one of my favorite affordable brands and I've liked just about everything I've tried from them, from the Beauty Bricks to Pro Conceal HD Concealer to the Glazed Lip Paints (check out my L.A. Girl Reviews here). Let's take a closer look!

From the L.A. Girl website

Contouring made easy with the new Velvet Contour Stick. Collection includes 3 highlighters, 10 blushes and 3 bronzers. This luxurious formula is paraben free with added jojoba seed oilshea buttercocoa seed butter and grape seed oil . The soft powdery finish blends beautifully - perfect for contouring!

I wanted to share this photo  from one of my favorite YouTube vloggers, Michelle from ReadySetGlamour. She posted this photo on her Instagram page the other day showing swatches of all sixteen shades. Hopefully it'll help you decide which shades to get!

Top Row from left to right:
1. Luminous
2. Radiance
3. Cashmere
4. Snuggle
5. Dreamy
6. Plume
7. Plush
8. Pompom

Bottom Row from left to right:

1. My Bae
2. Glimmer
3. Pinch Me
4. Velour
5. Crushed Berry
6. Brazen
7. Goddess
8. Suede

I have my eye on all three highlighters, Luminous, Radiance, and Cashmere. As far as the blushes go, I like Snuggle, Dreamy and Plume from the top row and My Bae, Glimmer, Pinch Me, and Velour from the bottom row...I have fair skin so I have to be careful not to get into the darker shades too much. I'm also not really too interested in the contour shades, so that helps to narrow it down a little bit

This ONE Trick Will Save You Tons of Money When Shopping Online

I know I've talked to you guys about how I save money with Ebates before, so this post isn't going to be all about that...although I do want to mention that right now, they're doing double cash back at Sephora and Ulta.
I just bought the new Tarte Blush Palette which is $44 and I got back $3.52 which will go right into my Paypal account when the payments go out. That doesn't seem like much, but it adds up when you get cash back on almost everything you buy online...here's my cashback activity from the past couple of months...you can see the last few purchases I got cash back with and my total cash back from all of my purchases:
Keep reading to see how I saved $10 at Old Navy without having to search for coupon codes! It's the coolest thing ever.

Anyway, I don't know if you use the Ebates Button, but if not, you might be missing out on a LOT of savings!

First of all, if you're not familiar with it, the Ebates button is a little widget that you drag into your toolbar on top of your web browser. When you go to a site that offers cash back, a little box pops down to let you know. This is an amazing thing because I can't tell you how many times I've purchased things at Sephora or Ulta and didn't remember to use Ebates until after the transaction went through...it was such a bummer!
Here's how you find it...it took me a while to figure out where it was. When you go to Ebates.com, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and look for where it says "Ebates Button" (see below screenshot), then follow the instructions to install it on your toolbar. I use Google Chrome and it was as simple as just dragging it up to the toolbar and dropping it there. You can see it in the screenshot below in the upper right-side of the page...it's a little yellow E.

Then, when you go to a site that supports Ebates, a little box will pop down to remind you to get your cash back...see this screenshot here. It's pretty hard to ignore, so this ensures you won't miss out on your cashback.

But that's not ALL it does...I'm not sure if this is new, but I've never seen it before. Ebates also scans the internet for coupon codes while you're at checkout. Here's an example...I was on the Old Navy site this morning because I wanted to buy a dress I saw in store yesterday but my local store didn't have my size. The Ebates button popped up like always and I went to the checkout screen.

Then all of a sudden, the Ebates button said it was checking for different coupon codes, and not only does it check for them, it tries them for you until it finds one that works! This means you don't even have to type them into the box...it's all automatic.

In this screenshot below, see how the little box at the top says that Ebates found 2 coupons? I didn't press anything, it just did this automatically when I got to the checkout screen.

Then it tried both of the coupon codes for me and automatically filled in the one that saved me the most money...it happened to be a 40% off coupon which saved me $10!

Here, you can see that my dress was on sale for $25 and then the coupon brought it down to $15.

Even if you don't care about getting cash back or don't shop online enough to make it worth your while, this little tool is invaluable because it saves you from having to go searching for coupon codes on sites like Retail Me Not or Coupons.com. I just thought it was so cool and I wanted to share it with you guys! :)

If you're not on Ebates yet, you can sign up for free here.
