Recently, City Color Cosmetics sent me a few of their City Chic lipsticks ($4.99 each at Citycolorcosmetics.com) to try and I was super excited because this is a brand that I've recently discovered and so far, I'm loving everything (in case you missed my City Color Intense Blush Quad review click here). Let's take a look!

The lipsticks themselves have the City Color heart logo embossed on them which is such a cute touch! I was sent three shades: I Dare You (Bright Orange-Red), Fashionista (Bright Rosy Red), and Diva (A bright purple-mauve).

When they say this formula is creamy, they weren't kidding! These are by far the creamiest lipsticks I've ever tried! They feel super soft, velvety and as nourishing as a rich lip balm with no sticky or waxy feel...just an ultra smooth, lightweight texture.
The pigmentation is just as impressive. These lay down intense color in one swipe...just check out these swatches:

They have a very faint rose scent that I can only detect when I'm applying them but it quickly fades. Wear time is surprisingly good for how creamy these are. When I first applied them, I was positive they would slide all over the place, but they don't. I was able to get a good 3+ hours out of them and after that, they left behind a stain on my lips so that extended the wear time quite a bit. Plus, using liner underneath will extend wear time also.
