My Etude House Pink Box came a few days ago, and as usual I couldn't wait to see what was inside...take a look!
If you're not familiar with Etude House, they are one of the hottest Korean makeup brands on the market and they just recently launched a US website so we are now able to order directly from them! I love Etude House because they have beautiful princess-y packaging and super high quality products that are actually affordable. I've tried so many Etude products and haven't been disappointed yet, so I really look forward to this box every month! This month's theme is Pink Wish Tree for Holiday 2014. Etude House has partnered with Save the Children's School Me program that helps girls in Africa realize their dream of going to school. Here's a quick 1 minute video explaining how purchasing products from the Pink Wish Tree line will help:
All of the products I received this month in my Pink Box are limited edition Pink Wish Tree products that a portion of the proceeds from the sale (100 Korean Won) will go toward Save The Children's School Me program.
First, I received a set of 3 nail polishes from their Play line that are holiday themed (no longer available on their website). They included a gold glitter (#331 Christmas Tree Star $3), dark red (#330 Christmas Socks $2), and a red and green glitter (#329 Christmas Carols $3). These are really fun and I can't wait to create some Christmas-themed nails (after Thanksgiving of course!).
Next, I received two hair ties with Pink Wish Tree printed on them. I love this type of hair tie because it's non-damaging and I use them all the time (and constantly lose them!) so I'll definitely use these. I love the colors too!
Next is a product that I've been wanting to try for a long time, the Precious Mineral Any Cushion foundation ($18). This is their original formula, it's just packaged as a limited Pink Wish Tree edition. I've used Laneige BB Cushion in the past and I really like it, but it's $34, so this is a much less expensive alternative.
It comes in a green compact and has a large mirror and a soft applicator sponge on top when you first open it. The compact itself feels heavy and high-quality.
Inside, there is a makeup-soaked sponge. You just press the applicator into the sponge to pick up some product and then pat it into your skin. Like most Korean foundations and BB Creams I've tried, this has great coverage and looks so natural on the skin. Plus, being able to carry it around in a compact is much more convenient than toting around a bottle of foundation and a brush/beauty sponge.
The Kissfull Lip Care box ($12) contains 3 flavored lip balms in Cherry, Strawberry and Peach. They don't really add any color to your lips, but they smell amazing and are super soft, melty balms that I've been using at night before I go to sleep. In the morning I wake up with the softest lips ever!
If you're interested in trying Etude House for the first time, or if you already love their products like I do, try some of their Pink Wish Tree products this holiday season. It goes toward a great cause and you'll get some amazing products in return!
