Perfectly Posh...My New Skincare Obsession

Recently, I was introduced to a bath & body/skincare brand calledPerfectly Poshand I'm already obsessed! Pretend that Lush and Bath & Body Works had a baby and you'll have somewhat of an idea of what the products are like. So far, I love everything I've tried (when can you ever say that about a brand?) and the packaging is equally as impressive as the products...it's just adorable.

Today I wanted to introduce you to two of their most popular products but before I do that, here's a few quick points about the company:

  • Founded in October 2011
  • Everything is made in the USA
  • Everything is under $25
  • Paraben-free, Sulfate-free, Cruelty-Free, Mineral Oil-Free, Lanolin-Free
  • They use natural ingredients that are good for your skin
  • Fragrances are gentle, phthalate-free and often over 95% natural
The Perfectly Posh brand philosophy is all about taking the time (even if it's just 10 or 15 minutes a day) to pamper yourself and to make yourself feel good.

Let's take a look!

The first product I got to try was the Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme ($8-$9) in Merry Berry and I'm not even kidding, it's already my new holy grail hand cream! It's made with Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, and Vitamin E and feels very thick and rich going on. Then as soon as you're done rubbing it in, maybe 10-15 seconds later, it's gone! It sinks in completely and disappears and you're left with super soft hands, no residue whatsoever. The first time I tried it I was blown away. I have never used a hand cream that soaked in that fast and that completely...it's awesome.

The scent Merry Berry is an early release for Holiday 2016 and it smells amazing. It's described as a "sweet and tart winter berry" and it is really gorgeous. It isn't too sweet or cloying like some berry scents can be...it's fresh and a little brisk, with a bit of sweet berry mixed in.

So far, I've tried three different scents, and I loved each one (even though they were all very different). I'm not sure about the entire range, but at least the ones I've tried are very balanced...not too sweet, not too overpowering...just right. They're also very long lasting! They hold up through at least one hand-washing, sometimes two! After scrubbing up with soap and water, my hands still feel soft after I dry them and the scent is still there...it's incredible.

Here's a look at the entire range...there's definitely something for everyone and the names are so cute! I will definitely be gifting these to people I know for Christmas...not only because the quality is amazing, but because the names remind me of certain people. For instance, one of my friends is always saying "Oh Snap" so she will definitely be getting that one. Another girl I know loves to use the expression "Hot Mess" so I can't not grab that one for her.
You can check out the entire range and scent descriptions on the Posh website. I'm obsessed with the scent Boho Soul...if you like soft, warm, skin-type scents it will blow your mind. I want to bathe in it...seriously I've already used it all over as a body cream and my tube is going to be gone soon. It's hard to find a scent like it that doesn't have musk in it (I'm not really a fan of musk) and also one that lasts that long...the scent throw is just so good, which is really rare for a super soft, subtle scent like this.

Next up is the Chunk soap ($8-$9 each) in the scent Pining For You, which is also an early Holiday 2016 Release. It smells like Christmas to me...it has a pine scent that makes me think of the good old days when my Dad used to go and cut down a Christmas Tree to put up in the house...it's a really nostalgic scent for me and my husband loves it too!

The Chunk soaps are made with moisturizing ingredients like Shea Butter, Palm Oil, and Glycerin rather than the tallow (animal fats) you can find in a lot of other soaps.  They're huge bars (you almost need two hands to hold them) and they'll last about 3 months with daily use! They produce a soft and creamy lather that doesn't strip your skin, which I love because mine is so dry, especially this time of year.
Posh also makes a soap called a Snarky Bar which has scrubbies in it to exfoliate your body without having to use a scrub (I'll be reviewing those in a separate post).
Once again, I'm dying over some of the names! I really want to try I Love You a Whole Brunch (sparkling citrus and spicy cardamom), Strawberry Fields Forever (fresh strawberry & zippy lime), Bless Your Heart (Southern peach, magnolia, and cottonseed), and Rolling in the Deep (sandalwood, palo santo, and light amber citrus). My sister is a huge Beetles fan so she's going to love Strawberry Fields!
You can check out all of the Chunk bars with their scent descriptions on the Posh website as well.

Another thing I wanted to mention about Perfectly Posh is that they are a direct sales company (like Avon or Stella & Dot), but you do not have to join or become a sales consultant to place an order...anyone can order with no obligation at all!
That being said, I was so impressed by the company that I decided to join as a consultant, mainly to get a discount on their products for myself. To join, you have to purchase a starter kit for $99 which includes $250 worth of Posh products, plus samples, guides, and an online training academy to get you started. My starter kit should be here tomorrow and I will do an unboxing to let you guys know what's included (it changes every month...this October starter kit has fall products in it).
I honestly never saw myself getting involved in a direct sales company, but this one is different because I really truly believe in it. If I were to start my own bath & body company, this is exactly what I would do...I love the products and everything they stand for.
I will be doing more reviews in the coming weeks of new products that aren't out on the site yet (so I have to wait for now), but I am so, so excited to have discovered Posh!

*Full disclosure...the links in this post will earn me a small commission if you make a purchase, however, that is not the main reason I joined Perfectly Posh...I really just wanted to share these amazing products with you all. That's the main reason I started this blog, because I love sharing my beauty obsessions with you! However, I never want to make you feel like I'm trying to "sell" you something, so if you are uncomfortable clicking my links to the products above, I encourage you to go directly to perfectlyposh.com and order that way. Thank you so much! :)
